A multi-lender platform for HVAC/RC contractors with a unique value to homeowners.

Role: Managed full product lifecycle from idea to launch and growth 2018 - 2022.

How I did it:

> Nurtured cross-functional teams to keep the culture of customer obsession where we always know why the customers are hiring/firing our product
> Sustained the long-term vision that aligned our organization around the product mission.

> Stayed frugal, by monitoring team health and iterating on tools and processes.

> Learned the latest SaaS operational methods and strategies to stay ahead of the curve and to deliver services with purpose.
> Developed and maintained the long-term and short-term roadmaps via the analysis of:

  • customer feedback;

  • user activations, engagement, and retention metrics;

  • the market competitive landscape;

  • threats and opportunities.

Challenges => Actions => Learnings:

  1. First time working in fintech => prioritized learning the subject matter( Investopedia, Internal Docs and subject matter experts, competitor blogs) => speaking with customers and the lender partnership teams has the highest pay-off when learning.

  2. First time building integrations with 3rd party APIs => dove into the API docs before the engineers to connect the tech>user>business needs, created flowcharts and simple prototypes to present to engineers for evaluation and feasibility review, established rapport with the 3rd party engineering leads to boost collaboration and support. => pave the path ahead for the team by removing as many high-level unknowns as you can before getting into the details of implementation.

Provide your sales team and technicians with an easy way to offer different types of financing that meet a wider range of customer needs with a single-paperless application.
